You know those weekends that just fly by all too quickly? We had one like that! I left work early on Friday and cycled home, I had a driving lesson at 5.30 and I dropped Ceri off to his parents. He was very impressed by my driving skills and I was chuffed to bits! I have my third shot a theory test on Saturday, here's hoping I pass this time as Gareth my driving instructor said I'm test ready! I just get super nervous!
When my driving lesson was finished, we gathered around the TV in my future In-Laws house to watch the Olympic Opening Ceremony. I have to say, I've been sick to the back teeth of hearing about the Olympics for the last few years but as the evening unfolded, I was enraptured like so many others!
It was a celebration of everything that is good and golden on this little island! The NHS! Voldemort, Peter Pan, all that wonderful music!
Sunday was threatening rain but it stayed fine all day so we went to the local courts and played some tennis. That makes it sound a lot more intense than it was, I have a good serve and that's about it - I refused to run for the ball when it went out and eventually we played doubles with two 8 year olds who had more energy than me. But they had their youth, so that's my excuse.
It's back to the grind and all I can think about is winning the lottery, quitting my job and opening a little bakery/cafe in Cardiff. I wonder if I could make that dream a reality?

We've discovered a rose bush in our garden that just won't stop blooming! I'm trying to find out if you can move them and they'll be ok so we can have more flowers on it - it's partially blocked from the sun and I want more roses!
