Another Rugby Weekend

Another rugby heavy weekend has drawn to a close, I'm feeling a little bit lost truth be told! During the 2 months of 6 Nations - my weekends are entirely planned around games.

On Friday after work, Ceri & I went to watch Cardiff Blues at their own ground - Cardiff Arms Park - I've never been to a ground like it, the Blues don't play there anymore although there is a lot of pressure for them to return and win their fans back round. Being in the terraces was an electric experience and there was nothing but love for the Blues the whole way through! I had to give up about 10minutes from the end due to the cold and head to meet friends in a local bar before heading home, but it was an awesome night and something I hope I can do again in the future, weather permitting!

On Saturday, Italy played England in a rather boring game - I was hoping Italy would smash the English team and although they did give them a good run around they failed to put the points on the board! The Ireland game against France was cancelled 2 minutes before kick off - which was super annoying!

Sunday was spent...wait for it...in the pub! Wales were playing at home to Scotland - the first home game of the 6 Nations and these are always bound to draw a good crowd! The atmosphere was awesome! I always want Scotland to win against everyone because they really believe they can do it - so was totally on the fence for this game - but when Wales started dominating it was hard not to get sucked in to the screaming and shouting!

This week Ceri & I are being super sociable with having friends over! Which is going to be so nice to be able to show off our home even though it's not finished let alone started!

What's your week looking like?
